Sweating for a Good Cause: World Sauna Day 2026 Supports Sauna Aid
This World Sauna Day, your sauna session means a little more than usual.
For every sauna that joins World Sauna Day on Saturday, 25 April 2026, we will donate 1€ to Sauna Aid. Each participating sauna counts, so the more saunas take part, the bigger the impact. It really is that simple.
What is Sauna Aid?
Sauna Aid is a global initiative that brings the healing power of sauna to people affected by conflict and natural disasters. It started in a time of crisis and is built on one simple idea: everyone deserves a moment of warmth and peace.

Over the past years, Sauna Aid has been bringing mobile saunas to Ukraine. This includes a tent sauna in the heart of Kharkiv, a container sauna near the Russian border, and several saunas in cities like Kupyansk and Kherson. All of this has been made possible by sauna communities and organisations from around the world coming together.

They also work closely with frontline medics. Together with the Swedish NGO Repower, Sauna Aid has organised sauna retreats in Denmark, Sweden, and Norway.
These have supported over 100 medical workers at a time, helping them recover through heat, rest, and quiet moments.
There is no war in sauna.
This is one of Sauna Aid’s core beliefs, and it says a lot. The sauna has always been a place where people leave their differences at the door. No titles, no borders, just steam and stillness. Sauna Aid takes this spirit and brings it to places where it is needed most.
How your session helps?
You show up, enjoy your sauna, and we donate 1€ for your sauna’s participation to Sauna Aid. Every sauna counts. And if you feel like doing a little more, you can donate directly or simply share the word about what Sauna Aid does.

Let’s make this World Sauna Day something truly worth sweating for.
With warmth,
